last,last Saturday

Been procrastinating so much I haven't been updating shit.

Was supposed to write bout last Saturday's cross country, but I was just too damn lazy.

The day began with me being dumped at the LRT thanks to Pops. Fortunately, for me, Whong felt caring and offered to pick me. Never say no. =D Went to school, picked up Pei Theng and off to Lake Gardens we go!

Met the other guys over there. Was kinda early, though we were 'supposed' to be there at 7am sharp. Malaysians are beginning to understand each other's timing. Well, maybe just Victorians.

Ran a 4.2km route, and ended up with 10th. Not too shabby, considering myself being confident a top 10 position. Any lower (or slower) and my confidence would feel like it just got COCKED.

Hung around with the guys, had a drink, pao-ed food, and waited for the prize giving ceremony. Fellow form sixer Arthur got numero uno. The dude deserved it. Damn fast. Couldn't catch up. If we were to just look at the form sixers on the standings, I would be 2nd behind him. Not bad. =D Chris got 12th, Hong 34th, and the rest got, thirty-err, i mean fourty-err, i mean..nevermind ;)

Got myself a silver medal for team category. Yay!

After that we went to the playground to lepak. Childhood revisited. The last time I went/passed by a playground was when I got that gift for my knee =.=

Chao-ed after bout an hour playing around and chowing down on ice-cream. Cleaned up at another setting, and met the guys back in MV to watch the Silver Surfer thrash the F4. Not bad. At least I get to end my abit-the-long-din-watch-no-nuts-movie spree =)

Anyway, campfire is this Saturday! Will be updating soon! (I hope =s)
I spy with my lil eye =)

it has not ended

Days have passed, and so has the VI Carnival. Grand it was, no doubt. Rock climbing, gigs by our very own local bands, games, food, what else? Nice clean fun for you and your family ain't it? Hmmm, what did I do then?

Basically I was damn tired by the time carnival started, working my ass off for the haunted mansion with the rest of my crew. Not to mention the minimal sleep I had on that Friday night. Anyway, life goes on right? Finished up the mansion at about 10 something, gave instructions to my 'ghosts' and opened shop. Not a bad reception, looking at where we set up our attraction.

I headed over to the basketball court for the futsal game. Teamed up with my bro and Wan. Not a bad combination =\ Managed to reach the finals with me and Wan scoring a couple. Eventually lost to a Form 4 team by 2 goals to nil. I accepted the defeat, for I was totally pancit-ed. Running to the form 1 block and back every half an hour or so? (thanks to those assh*** causing problems in my mansion)Whew. Looking on the bright side, at least I got to the finals didn't I?

After that I went over to the FSC's Dunk Machine for a quick dip, as promised. Pulled quite a crowd I must say *bangga* Better than Duncan anytime. Even got Dragon Red to come around and give a few throws. Not too shabby. Time just vroomed by, and without noticing I spent an hour or so climbing on and off the board. Ok. Time to say bye bye. [was gonna rain anyway, and no more crowd =(]

Back to the form 1 block, and how sad to say that my rumah hantu had no hantu. Disappointed I was. Panas I was too. Grrr. Not many people too at that time. Was about 4 I think. Called a few subsitute ghosts to come over to haunt, and so did I. Entered awhile, but came out soon enough. Couldn't bear crawling under the tables, based on my current physical condition.

Carnival ended not long after, but the gigs went on. Used Jiunkei's AllAccess pass to usha awhile, then back to the mansion I went. Spent the rest of the day/night cleaning up. No fun there. Same people setting up and cleaning up? Geezzz.

It's been a few days since the big day, but there are still people out there still busy with the leftovers. Settling accounts and etc. For me, it also has not ended. VSG Campfire just around the corner, and responsible scouters, help we must. Not to mention my unfinished business with the editorial board. Sigh.

Regardless of how hard things get, we must...

frustrated

Another day of holidays, another day of boredom, frustration and disappointment.

From unwilling teachers to the last paper of mid-term exams, things really have been really frustrating. Was it my fault for procrastinating? Or was it someone else's fault? I don't really know. And at this point, I don't really care.

Been going to school every damn day of the holidays. For classes, tuition, then for RCG, then classes and tuition again. Now I've gotta be there to make sure there IS a haunted mansion for our carnival. Haven't gone out for a single movie since, err... Pan's Labyrinth? No R&R for me at all. Fuck off lar.

Ribuan-ribuan terima kasih to those who have been such a great help by passing the Bestari rooms around. Couldn't they be just a lil more willing to take a wee bit more responsibilty to help out? Just this once? For the carnival? For the students? For the school? Sigh. Nothing more I can do but try my best to get it done. Make a force move I must?

And the exams. Just another paper, but I am trying and hoping to improve on my results and hoping that the time I spent studying pays off. Taking baby steps. For PA, it's whether you pass or fail. No more, no less.

Tomorrow will be yet another day, another day of work and another step towards even more frustration. I bet I'm not the only one feeling the heat. Oh wells. Eventually things will get better. I hope. =S

all you can eat/play for rm25!

We all know how fun barbecues and cook outs are, and I think steamboat just joined their ranks. It all started with a call, and ended in laughter. Retard style. Like Hong, but too bad he wasn't there. =P Me, Liks, Theen Chuan, Kev, Jovi and 2 APD form 6 girls went to Restoran Talipon in Kuchai to have dinner. Steamboat, all you can eat, or waste =x. Too much food to spare. And us being greedy asses. Lol.

Manually cooking your food can end up satisfactory, or otherwise. We got the otherwise. Not to say all of 'em were bad, there were some that came out good. Like the ones that you just have to throw into the soup. Yea that's right. Just the fishballs came out right. But we ain't THAT bad, right?

Scrambled eggs ended up looking like fish? Cooking deep-fried chicken on a hot plate? Bloated wanton mee? Even screwed the fishballs up. Twice their size. Now you see it, now you...WHOA BIG. Zzz. And fried watermelon?
-_- Heard that lame ol' joke, "Did you see the butter fly"? Heck. It literally happened. Laughed our asses off throughout the dinner. The whole restaurant was polluted with out noise. ROTFLOL XD ARRGH *stomach cramp*

Paid 25 bucks for the fun. I mean food. Worth every cent, though the banner clearly said 19.90 per pax. =\Ended up really full. Not with food, but with air (rhymes with "...mee goreng, not pattaya, but with pork..." =S). For the amount of shit we did/made, I think the lady boss would consider blacklisting us from the place (unless she already saw us =x). There even was a joke about it after we left. xD

Us : Bill please. How much?
Lady boss : It's ok. No need pay.
Us : Serious?
Lady boss : Yes. Just don't come back.
Us : Don't la.
Lady boss : Ok la. I give you talipon also la. Don't come back.
Us : K. xD.

Aiyor. That wasn't the end. On the way back, a roadblock there was. And for no apparent reason we found the roadblock funny, and laughed our ass off in the car. Had to stifle our laughter as we approached the block. A check of the IC and driving license, that's all. Continued laughing like retards as we left. Cockstories popped out of nowhere, and this was another...

Police : Pergi mana ramai-ramai?
TC : Pergi talipon.
Police : Pergi talipon ramai-ramai?
xxx : ....

Couldn't remember any more that that, laughter just clouded my mind. Lol. Felt kinda retarded at that time. Like a bunch of asylum seekers in a Proton. Even laughed at TC when his mom called. Wtf man. Loads of food and fun, only at Talipon. xD

*this is a revised version. found out my posts were a bit the long, so i decided to cut down a lil. we're all about changing for the better right? =)
